New York photographers Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg have developed a new style of photography using animated GIFs. Not quite photograph and not quite film the technique manages to blur the two forms into a completely unique and often mesmerising result.

Jamie muses "There's something magical about a still photograph, a captured moment in time—that can simultaneously exist outside the fraction of a second the shutter captures.”
